Me and my hubby always lament about how we don’t get to plate up some food in our handmade tableware and take pictures because most of the time , all the wares handcrafted by us goes straight to the customers or the stores but this lockdown has given us this chance to do just that, so I made Khadhi with kale pakoras, thank you to our Mom for this recipe and this dish has been our childhood favourite since our Mom was a big fan of Khana Khazana ‘s Sanjeev Kapoor. Big thank you to Anand, my brother in law , for sending us kale and many other beautiful produce from their amazing farm Ramalaya farm , Rhenock and adding kale gives a whole new flavour, texture and a healthy twist to this dish. The bowl that we have plated up the khadhi has our new glaze ,we would like to call “Nightscape” ,it is an ode to my all time favourite painting ,Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh, this glaze was chanced upon by my hubby, Praneet, a self taught glaze expert at our studio, and we can’t hold our excitement over this new colour and wanted to share this joy with you all.
